Complacency is overcome by change, but change you must first have passed complacency. This is the chicken and egg problem that comes before. Change starts with one powerful person, he or she is lying a few examples of others, producing some benefit of the group and then spreads more widely distributed. To effect change, you must have a plan or program. To ensure a successful program that changes and modifications must have a participationThe people in the change reduce complacency. The more programs, the change less and self-satisfaction.
The problem is overcome with programs on how to keep them up and bring positive results. I have read Leading Change by John P. Kotter, is your ship by Captain Michael D. Abrashoff and now the 80/20 principle by Richard Koch, to learn how to overcome this problem of complacency. Leading Change explains how and why, and your ship will give youuse management techniques and the 80/20 principle will help you align resources for best results.
The plan:
Over the next year we will develop a program with a team of our church, which will launch in 2008 a new program called The hours of development, the Christians in High Places. With the aim of offering concrete solutions to our Christian world around us. The companies are leaders, they survive by making necessary changes to make it able to take looktwenty-first century, and what better way to spread the message of Jesus as having strong Christians to do the job properly.
The method:
We propose to use the resources of our senior citizens for the experiences on how to overcome past mistakes and tap the abilities of Change leader teaching for the future.
To create a coalition of leadership, derived from church leaders and elders are willing to accept the challenge to run the program and suggestions forImprovements.
For teachers, Sunday school classes for all ages.
It offers courses in finance and administration.
conduct classes on leadership for the twenty-first century.
conduct classes on management techniques from the examples of the book It's Your Ship data.
Have consultations about gifts and how to make them work.
In 2007, a list of courses offered and class outlines, review and improvement of each class of a courseBase.
The advantage:
Other people involved in the service.
Less than complacency in the church.
The growth of our Sunday school and church, involving the community.
Enable our youth to be successful in working with the tools needed in building a Christian.
To identify our gifts and how to use them.
With a strong team in the coalition, the installation time of the review process, you can keep on track.
L 'final destination, overcome complacency
To pass in the final analysis, self-satisfaction, the program needs to earn victories in the short term. There should be the team and the leadership of the Coalition held at regular intervals.
The new programs should be launched in no less than 18 months overlap existing programs to make the changes go ahead. The more programs that are ongoing at the same time the greater the impact of the reduction in complacency.
Accept the80/20, the programs will produce 20 percent of the costs, 80 percent of income. So, to work on improving the first 20 per cent for the results composed. A small improvement in the top 20 percent will translate into higher earnings.
Look at the example that Jesus gave us, has chosen a coalition of 12 Guide, gave them a program that produces short-term gains (miracles) and had the program in motion with the introduction of new programs. Note that, just like 12 with a snake, have an ego, and snakes have to do.
